My Miniature Room

One shelf in our kitchen vitrine.

I bought the wonderful trunk on the left side yesterday, as well as the blue crystal bottle in it, and also the lamp and the white basket with it's contents.
As soon as I'll find a beautiful romantic canopy bed, another shelf will be taken into use as a bedroom, and the trunk will be moved there. And then there'll be space for something else again in the living room...

    1. Thank you!
Just this one self for dollhouse purpose so far. - And above it the heaven self of course, the shelf of the angels, which I published a couple of days ago! :)
But there are more shelves in the vitrine and I'm prepared to move other things from them if I start to get great ideas of other rooms, like I already have the bedroom in my dreams now. - A friend of us already asked that shouldn't Timo get a motorbike carage to the lowest shelf! :)

  3. How lovely! I adore miniatures. I have lots of ideas for things I want to do in miniature, but I haven't actually started any of them. This has inspired me, so maybe I will get started now! Where did you find that sweet little trunk?

    1. So do I. And I'm really happy if I've succeeded to inspire you with my picture! I found the trunk on the day before yesterday in a dollhouse happening of several sellers. The lady who sold it had made it by herself! I felt it was so charming that I just had to buy it. This is her blog http://eijasi.vuodatus.net/, but I couldn't find the trunk there. Now I'm dreaming of a romantic bed, and the loveliest ones I've found so far are this http://www.etsy.com/listing/103038656/dollhouse-miniature-112-scale-artisan? and this http://www.etsy.com/listing/109587810/dollhouse-miniature-112-scale-artisan-un?. They are quite expensive and I suppose shipping to Finland will also become very expensive. So I will continue dreaming and searching. :)

    1. Olen niin villiintynyt, että voisin tehdä vaikka koko kylän, mutta enköhän tästä vähän tasaannu! :)

  5. Oh so cute, just adorable. And that little basket with a knitting magazine and everything. I'd like to live there myself but I'll be waiting for the bedroom before I move in :D
